We have had several calls in reference to heavy smoke in Saluda County. We have been informed the smoke is due to ongoing wildfires in the state of Georgia. Please only call 911 to report an actual fire. Remember, we are currently in a statewide burn ban.

Congratulations to these two recent graduates of the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy! We are proud of both our officers at the Saluda County Detention Center and the job they do along with all the other staff! Keep pushing forward and be the difference! God bless them both!

2026 Special Olympics

Out of an abundance of caution, Saluda County Schools will transition to an e-learning day on Monday, January 26.
According to the latest update from the National Weather Service, additional ice accumulation and low temperatures overnight may keep road conditions hazardous through Monday morning.

Families are encouraged to continue monitoring the district website and official social media channels for the most up-to-date information. Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.

Por precaución, las escuelas del condado de Saluda pasarán a un día de aprendizaje electrónico el lunes 26 de enero.
