Rock Creek Landfill and all other facilities including the Red Hill Transfer Station will remain open on 5/1/26.

High Wind Closure:
Rock Creek Landfill in Milton is temporarily closing due to sustained high winds as of 10:10 am on 2/11/26. We will reopen once wind speeds drop to safe levels.

Enforcement of load tarping at the Rock Creek Solid Waste Facility will begin on February 12, 2026.

Motorists whose waste loads are not properly secured upon entry will be required to either purchase a load securing tarp at the Gatehouse or return to the facility only after properly securing the load.

Litter and debris from unsecured loads is:
🎯Unlawfull
🎯Dangerous to other drivers
🎯Ends up in local waterways
🎯Harms livestock and wildlife
🎯Contaminates our environment
