Places to sign the Calaveras Local Fire Protection Initiative petition:
1) Senders, Mountain Ranch, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays starting today, Feb. 5 and through Feb. 19.
2) Treat's General Store, San Andreas, 2 to 4 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays through Feb. 18
3) The counter at San Andreas Print Shop, 45 E. St. Charles St., San Andreas, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
4) The Pour House, 350 Main St., Murphys, after 11 a.m.
I will update as I hear of more sites. There are often groups also collecting at the IGA in Copperopolis and Senders or Starbucks in Valley Springs.
