**Update**

8/7/24 -Staff worked around the clock to repair the transmission main failure between Moke Hill and San Andreas, water was restored around 2 a.m this morning. The field crew will be back in the area to backfill and clean up. We appreciate the hard work from our field crew last night to get the repairs completed and to minimize customer outages. We would also like to thank Herd's Machine & Welding for their hard work on the emergency weld job. And lastly we would like to thank our customers for their patience and understanding during this prolonged outage.

2:00pm – The crew has isolated the leak. As the tank in Mokelumne Hill is being refilled customers will start to come back into service. There are a few isolated customers who will have a prolonged outage and those customers have been contacted directly. As a reminder, please run an outside faucet until water becomes clear to avoid pulling debris into your inside plumbing.
We are asking the town of San Andreas to conserve water while the repair is made.

12:30pm - Customer effected have been updated to include Hwy 49 between Mokelumne Hill and San Andreas, Gold strike Rd., and Andreas Vista.

Customers on the Hwy 26 corridor of Mokelumne Hill will be experiencing an outage due to an emergency line repair. Crew is on site assessing the damage and developing a plan. The District will update as information becomes available. We apologize for the inconvenience.
