Construction is officially getting underway on an important infrastructure project for the Arnold community.

Phase 1 improvements to the Arnold Wastewater Treatment Facility are beginning, marking a major investment in system reliability, water quality, and long‑term planning. Originally built in 1986, the facility now serves a larger service area that includes downtown Arnold, Avery, and the Mill Woods subdivision. After more than three decades of use, key upgrades are needed to keep the system operating safely and efficiently.

This phase of the project focuses on improving day‑to‑day operations, strengthening critical infrastructure, and preparing the facility for future growth if needed. Planned improvements include a new clarifier to increase capacity, upgraded pumping and treatment equipment, an additional aerobic digester, and related civil, mechanical, and electrical upgrades.

This work is an important step in protecting public health, supporting environmental stewardship, and ensuring reliable wastewater service for the community now and into the future.

Stay tuned as construction progresses and the project moves toward the finish line.
