We're getting constant reports of illegal smuggling and deals in the Los Santos metropolitan area. Citizens are advised to report any suspicious activity to the Los Santos Police Department Crime-Line unit. Or you could just drive to us and talk to us in person. A failed attempt at car theft. Officers Jason Thompson and Lyle Davidson were entering the Los Santos Golfing Society in the Rockford Hills/Richman area as they were responding to a callout on the course. As they entered they saw a speeding Obey Tailgater leaving the parking lot with a smashed window. The officers instantly put on their lights which distracted the driver forcing him to take his eyes off the road and driving the car straight into the security booth.

Luckily nobody was hurt during the crime event. The station and the community will be thanking the two heroes for their quick response.

There was a store robbery today at the Binco clothes store near the Vespucci Canals. Three civilians were left with gunshot wounds but fortunately nobody was killed. Two gunmen held up the store clerk in an attempt to take the cash register's inventory of dollar bills. They were successful in their heist but unsuccessful in their getaway. They were both found and caught 4 blocks northeast of the store. Both suspects are believed to be gang related with the Ballas. According to Investigator Martinez, the heist was supposed to be a message to someone from the Ballas.

Further questioning is underway as we speak but if you have any information on this event, please contact us.

Two officers were called out earlier today to a homicide call. Both officers were attacked by local gang members when arriving on scene. Luckily both of our officers survived the attack. We are looking for any available information on these gang members. One was believed to be a black male with a grey shirt wrapped around the majority of his face. The other was a white male with another grey wrap-around shirt on his face. Both suspects are male, average build and average height. Both suspects were last seen on the corner of El Rancho Boulevard and Fudge Lane in East Los Santos.

If you have any information regarding the matter, please let us know. A reward of $250 will be given if your information leads to an arrest.

Are you going on holiday anytime soon? If so, remember to keep your house safe. The LSPD this year has had over 2,100 cases of break-ins and house robberies whilst the residents have been out or on holiday.

• Do not tell people that you are leaving your house. Avoid posting it on social media sites.
• Form a Neighbourhood Watch and notify your neighbours when you're leaving the house.
• Lock all doors, gates and windows. Ensure also that your security alarm system has been armed.
• Check your garage door for any gaps underneath it. The bigger the gap is, the easier it is for forced crowbar entry.
• Set timers for you interior lighting to come on around appropriate times to give burglars a second thought.
• Close your blinds and curtains.
• Make sure there are no valuables left in sight in either the house or the car.

Please contact the LSPD if you see any suspicious activity or if you'd like to report a burglary, please dial 911.
