Kick off the new school year with an evening of fun, connection, and play! This is a sensory-friendly event where families of children with a disability can enjoy jumping, while the caregiver can connect with local organizations.

🤝 5:30–7:00 PM – Resource Fair
🤸 6:00–8:00 PM – Jump Time

Today, Jason Vaquera, Mental Health First Aid Coordinator/Outreach Worker and Erika Aime Baeza, Mental Health Awareness Training Coordinator, had the privilege of hosting an Older Adult Mental Health First Aid training at Concho Valley Council of Governments - Area Agency on Aging.

Our MHFA training for Older Adults is part of our Adult MHFA community-specific programs. Other specialized programs include: Higher Education, Fire and EMS, Public Safety, Corrections, Older Adults, Rural Communities, and Spanish Speakers. These Area Agency on Aging staff members are now able to assist any Older Adults that may be experiencing any mental or substance use challenges.
