🎒✏️ Back to School at Concho Valley Home for Girls! 📚💗

A new school year means fresh starts, new goals, and so many opportunities ahead! Our girls are heading back to the classroom, and we are excited to cheer them on as they learn, grow, and work toward bright futures.

We’re proud of each of our girls and all that they continue to accomplish both in the classroom and beyond. We hope you’ll join us in wishing them a wonderful school year filled with confidence, friendships, success, and plenty of reasons to smile! 💕

A little note about our photos: Not every girl who calls Concho Valley Home for Girls home is able to be pictured on our social media. While you may only see some of our girls here, we are celebrating every one of them as they begin this new school year.

The girls enjoyed a little pool time before kicking off another school year! ☀️🏊‍♀️ It was the perfect way to soak up the last bit of summer, make some memories, and enjoy some fun together before heading back to the classroom. 💙📚

This past week, the girls got to spend some time out at the horse barn learning a new skill—how to rope!🐴🤠

There's nothing quite like watching their confidence grow as they step outside their comfort zones and try something new. We love seeing each of them thrive, build new skills, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Our girls, alongside their cottage parents, recently designed and built this functional firewood holder. This project gave them the opportunity to learn valuable skills in planning, teamwork, problem-solving, and construction—all while creating something useful for the home.

Happy Father's Day to all the amazing dads and father figures who make a difference through their love, guidance, and support.

Today, we're especially thankful for our Cottage Dad, whose dedication and care help create a loving and stable home for the girls we serve. We appreciate all that you do!

Our Transition Center clients had the opportunity to participate in a Financial Literacy Training hosted by Todd Sanford this past Saturday. Clients received valuable information on budgeting, saving, emergency preparedness, and setting financial goals for the future.

Thank you Todd, for sharing your knowledge and helping our young adults develop skills that support long-term independence and success.
