Helping Hands- San Angelo Helping Hands is an organization, which in partnership with community volunteers, restores the homes of qualified, low income, elderly homeowners.

We are excited to tell you that the Helping Hands Program (formerly known as Christmas in April) is being Reborn. This new program is called "Helping Hands". It is led by Program Manager Mary Herbert.

Communities in the southern region of the Concho Valley are experiencing catastrophic damages due to rising water and help is needed to stand in the gap for our neighbors in need. The Disaster Relief Fund for Southern Concho Valley will support immediate relief and long-term recovery in communities in the San Angelo Area Foundation's service area impacted by the recent flooding in Sutton, Crockett, Schleicher, Kimble and Menard Counties.

Just one year ago, San Angelo and the surrounding area experienced damages to homes and businesses after more than 14 inches of rain caused widespread flooding. Disaster philanthropy is vital when faced with the unexpected and your support to the Disaster Relief Fund for Southern Concho Valley can strengthen the response and together we can come along side our neighbors in need, and your support can help restore hope for those who are hurting.
