San Anselmo Arts Spotlight!

Big shout-out to Ray & Paul Holmberg, brothers and Archie Williams High School graduates, who started their band as teens and have grown into one of the Bay Area’s most exciting alt-rock acts — with standout tracks like Pelican and Blue, buzz from Spotify editorial playlists, a sync on HBO’s The S*x Lives of College Girls, and touring across the West Coast.
They’ll be joined by Anna Harrell, Tam High School alum, for a night of local talent!

° Live at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley

Come support artists connected to our community!

11/11/2025

Hello community! Something exciting is happening at the Isabel Cook Community Center (1000 Sir Francis Drake Blvd) this weekend! The artists in the San Anselmo Artists Studios are hosting their Open Studios on November 15 and 16, 11–4, and it’s a great chance to see what’s going on in our own creative backyard.

There’ll be 10 artists showing work — paintings, prints, drawings, mixed media — plus some solid sale pieces if you’re hunting for something unique.

If you want more info, you can reach out to Wendy Goldberg at [email protected] or check out her site.

Swing through, say hi, see some art, support local talent. It’s going to be a good one!

Eco-Mural Reveal — San Anselmo!

After three weeks of painting, artist Luis Baraja Ochoa unveiled the stunning Eco-Mural at Memorial Park, created by the San Anselmo Arts Commission in partnership with the Climate Action Committee.

The project was spearheaded by our Youth Commissioner Julia Wise, with support from our wonderful community.

A big thank-you to the Town of San Anselmo, all our Commissioners, and everyone who joined us for the reveal last Saturday — it was a memorable success! 💚

And shout-out to Beatles in the Park for enabling local public art like this one to live as a permanent fixture in our community for all to enjoy!
