Today, we wrap up our U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman birthday shout-outs by spotlighting Senior Chief Hospital Corpsman Vanessa Green.

As the Senior Enlisted Leader for curriculum management, Green ensures Navy Medicine training programs remain the gold standard for operational readiness. She also brings a proud family history of service to her role.

We are proud to announce that Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Kevinjay Flores, an instructor at the Navy Medicine Training Support Command, has been named the 2025 Shore-Based Biomedical Equipment Technician of the Year by the U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery! 🎖️

As a diagnostic imaging instructor, Flores plays a critical role in training the next generation of technicians who ensure our military’s medical equipment is ready for action across the globe.

We welcomed Mr. Keith Donahoe, evaluator from the Council on Occupational Education (COE) for a preliminary visit to the headquarters building, June 11.

Mr. Donahoe met with dedicated members of the NMFDC team to review their respective standards, ensuring the command is on track for another successful reaffirmation of 40+ years of COE accreditation. ⭐

Double Duty 🫡🫡

For the first time in more than two decades, U.S. Navy Senior Chief Hospital Corpsman Vanessa Green and U.S. Army Command Sgt. Maj. Vincent Green are serving together, just a mile apart, at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston.

With more than 50 years of combined military service, the twins said serving together is more than a coincidence, but a testament to family, faith, perseverance, and a shared commitment to serving the nation.
