Meghan Cano currently serves as the President and CEO of CHR Partners, Inc., is an Experienced Public Sector Professional with a demonstrated history of working with all three levels of government, nonprofit organizations, higher education and start-ups. a national nonprofit organization developing affordable housing and providing critical support services. Cano has increased the organizations por
tfolio by more than 200% and documented services to more than 15,000 individuals throughout the State of Texas. Cano served as AVP of Contract Management and Quality Assurance for Haven for Hope as well as many other roles. During her time at Haven, she was one of the instrumental staff involved in the creation of the Homeless and Housing Services Program in the State of Texas; the first homeless grant program to be funded with general revenue in the amount of $20M dollars. Cano completed time with the White House Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation; responsible for engaging and promoting public-private partnerships on a national level in an effort to serve our nation’s growing needs. Cano has brought this approach to a community driven/designed process to CHR Partners and has seen firsthand how “service enriched housing” can generate sustainability and self-sufficiency for families and communities. Cano is also a co-founder of Rise Civic Consulting, a start-up focused on solving community issues through innovative technologies and BexarAid, a management services organization partnering to provide COVID-19 testing to the City of San Antonio and surrounding areas. Cano was named the San Antonio Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Woman of the Year and one of the top 100 National Rising Stars for the National Business Journal. She is also an Adjunct Professor for Trinity University’s Entrepreneurship Program and the Center for International Engagement. Most importantly, she is the proud mother of two.
