Grateful to be alongside two incredible public servants last night for our farewell event to Chief McManus.

Thank you, Chief, for the incredible work you have done to give San Antonio the best police department in the United States.

And to Interim Chief Jesse Salame, I’m glad our community got to meet you and I look forward to the amazing things you’ll do for our city.

Last week I joined KSAT News and students from Triumph Public High Schools to talk about how our VIA bus pass program is connecting students to their education by eliminating transportation barriers.

Students across the city, ages 12-18 years old are eligible to get a free bus pass. Those 13-18 years old may sign up online through VIA’s website or the link in my bio.
