DON'T LIMIT GOD WITH YOUR UNDERSTANDING

(Job 4:12-13) Now a thing was secretly brought to me, when deep sleep falleth on men, and mine ear received a little thereof. (13) In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falleth on men,

NOTE: Although Eliphaz claimed that his vision was divinely it inspired, it is doubtful that it came from God because later God criticized Eliphaz for misrepresenting Him 👉READ (Job 42:7).
whatever the visions source, it is summarize in 👉READ(Job 4:17). On the surface, this statement is completely true--- a mere mortal cannot compare to God and should not try to question God's motives and actions. But Eliphaz took this thought and expounded on it later, expressing his own opinions. His conclusion
👉READ (Job 5:8) reveals a very shallow understanding of Job and his suffering. It is easy for teachers, counselors, and well meaning friends to begin with a portion of God's truth, but then go all on a tangent don't limit God to your perspective and finite understanding of life.

HELPLESS BEFORE GOD

(Job 4:10) The roaring of the lion, and the voice of the fierce lion, and the teeth of the young lions, are broken.

NOTE: Eliphaz argued that wicked men, though they be as strong as lions, can be helpless before GOD'S judgment and justice.

PRAISE GOD, IN JESUS NAME. AMEN.

EXAMPLES

(Job 4:7-8) Remember , I pray thee, whoever perished, being innocent? or where were the righteous cut off? (8) Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and so wickedness, reap the same.

NOTE: part of what Eliphaz said it's true, and part is false. It is true that those who promotes sin in trouble eventually will be punished; it is false that anyone who is good and innocent will never suffer. All the material recorded in the Bible is here by God's choice. Some is a record of what people said and did but is not an example to follow. The sins, the defeats, the evil thoughts, and the misconceptions about God are all recorded in God's divinely inspired Word, but we should not follow those wrong examples. Just because they are in the Bible. The Bible gives us teachings and examples of what we should do as well as what we should not do. Eliphaz's comments are an example of what we should try to avoid ---making false assumptions about others based on our own experiences.

A person has to go through some struggles in their lives, to process what God is teaching them. As Christians, we're in a rush to help someone, not realizing we are interfering with God's work.

How can a person move forward and grow, if we interfere in God's plan?

Remember God saves we don't.

PRAISE GOD, IN JESUS NAME. AMEN.

FIRST SPEECH OF ELIPHAZ
1) Job, once a comforter,
Was now comfortless

(Job 4:1) Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said,(2) If we assay to commune with thee, with thou be grieved? But who can withhold himself from speaking?(3) Behold, thou has instructed many, and thou has strengthened the weak hands.(4) Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees.(5) But now it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; it toucheth thee, and thou art throubled. (6) Is not this thy fear, thy confidence, thy hope, and the uprightness the way?

NOTE: Eliphaz claim to have been given secret knowledge through a special revelation from God and that he had learned much from personal experience. He argued that suffering is a direct result of sin, so if Job will only confess his sins, his suffering would end. Eliphaz so suffering as God's punishment, which should be welcomed in order to bring a person back to God. In some cases, of course, this may be true
Read 👉 (Galatians 6:7-8), But it was not true with Job. Although Eliphaz had many good and true comments, he made three wrong assumptions;(1) A good and innocent person never suffers;(2) those who suffer are being punished for their past sins;(3) Job, because he was suffering, had done something wrong in God's eyes.

Far from the truth, you can't assume we all share the same experiences. What work for us, may have devastating results for them. Let them seek God for the answers. The best thing we can do is be supportive.

PRAISE GOD, IN JESUS NAME. AMEN.

HE WONDERED WHY THE SAD HAD TO LIVE

(Job 3:23-26) Why is light given to man whose way his hid, and whom God hath hedged in?

NOTE: (Job 3:23-26) Job had been careful not to worship material positions, but to worship GOD alone. Here he was overwhelmed by calamities that mocked his caution, and he complained about trials that came despite his right living. All the principles by which he had lived were crumbling, and Job began to lose his perspective.
Trials and grief, whether temporary or enduring, do not destroy the real purpose of life. Life is not giving merely for happiness and personal fulfillment, but for us to serve an honor GOD. The worth and meaning of life is not based on what we feel, but on the one reality, no one can take away -- GOD'S love for us. Don't assume that because GOD truly loves you HE will always prevent suffering. The opposite may be true. GOD'S love can I be measured a limited by how great or how little we may suffer. READ 👉 (Romans 8:38-39)
Teaches us that nothing can separate us from GOD'S love.

Yes, I'm going through a rough patch in my life. Actually...it's been hard my whole life. You could say my life has a balance of blessing and curses!!! But what I've learned, is to appreciate the gifts and troubled times. No matter what, we should PRAISE GOD, IN JESUS NAME. Don't get me wrong. I'll kick and fuss, but in the end, I will give thanks for HIS mercy.

PRAISE GOD, IN JESUS NAME. AMEN 🙏

HE WISHED TO HAVE DIED AT BIRTH

(JOB 3:11) Why died I not from the womb? Why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?

NOTE: 3:11- Job was experiencing extreme physical pain as well as grief over the loss of his family and possessions. He can't be blamed for wishing he were dead. Job's grief placed him at the crossroads of his faith, shattering many misconceptions about GOD. He makes you rich, always keeps you from trouble and pain, or protects your loved one's. Job was driven back to the basics of his faith in GOD. He had only two choices:(1) He could curse GOD and give up, or (2) He could trust GOD and draw strength from Him to continue.

We all experience these emotions. It's alright to feel this way at times. But just remember, with GOD, what was lost... it will be found in Heaven.
PRAISE GOD, IN JESUS NAME. AMEN.

HE WISHED NEVER TO HAVE BEEN BORN

(Job 3:1- 10) After this open Job, his mouth, and curse his day. (2) And Job spake, and said,(3) Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived. (4) Let that day be darkness; let not God regard from above, neither let the light shine upon it. (5) Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.(6) As for that night, let darkness seize upon it; let it not be joined onto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months.(7) Lo, let that night be solitary, let no joyful voice come therein. (8) Let them curse it that curse that day, who are ready to rise up their mourning. (9) Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day: (10) Because it shut not up the doors of my mother's womb nor hit sorrow from mine eyes.

1 NOTE: Job's response to his second test - physical affliction- contrast greatly to his attitude after the first test (Job 1-20-22). Job still did not curse God, but he cursed the day of his birth. He felt it would be better, never to have been born than to be forsaken by God. Job was struggling emotionally, physically, and spiritually, his misery was pervasive and deep. Never underestimate how vulnerable we are during times of suffering and pain. We must hold onto God, even if there is no relief.

I know it's easier said than done, I know it seems like the more you love GOD the harder life gets. My father once said to me, son if it wasn't for bad luck, you wouldn't have any luck at all, lol!!! But that's what satan wants you to do...is to give up your faith in GOD. We have to be like Job, no matter what, PRAISE GOD IN THE NAME OF JESUS! I'll be honest with you,I know tomorrow, the devil will come after me like a roaring lion, this is certain. But it's not my fight. The GOD who loves me, fights for me. And someday, I'll be living in HIS house with joy and peace for the rest of my life.
PRAISE GOD, IN THE NAME OF JESUS.AMEN

THE GOD OF GLORY 3.

A Fire enfolding itself- (Ezekiel 1:4) and I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a 👉FIRE ENFOLDING ITSELF, 👈and a brightness was about it, and out of the mist thereof as the color of amber, out of the mist of fire. We are told in (Hebrews 12:29) for our God is a consuming fire. There is a big difference between the flame of a candle, and the roaring blast of a forest fire. We cannot even stand near a raging fire. Even with sophisticated firefighting equipment, a devouring fire is often beyond human control. God is not within our control, either. We cannot force Him to do anything for us through our prayers. He cannot be contained. Yet, He is a god of compassion. he has saved us from sin, and he will save us from death. But everything that is worthless and sinful will be devoured by the fire of His Wrath.👈 Only what is good, dedicated to God, and righteous will remain. this speaks of the perfect Holiness of God. PRAISE GOD, IN JESUS NAME. AMEN.

THE GLORY OF GOD 2.

A Great Cloud: (Ezekiel 1:4) and I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightest was about it, and out of the mist thereof as their color of amber, out of the mist of fire. When God revealed himself to the children of Israel at Sinai, at the giving of the" Law He came to them" in a thick cloud. (Exodus 19:9-11) And the Lord said unto Moses, lo, I come onto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee forever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the Lord.(10) And the Lord said unto Moses, go unto the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes,(11) And be ready against the third day for the third day. The Lord will come down in the sight of all the people Mount Sinai.
Moses was told to consecrate the people. This meant getting them physically and spiritually ready to meet God. The people were to set themselves apart from sin and even ordinary daily routine in order to dedicate themselves to God. The act of washing and preparing served to get their minds and hearts ready. When we meet God for worship, we should set aside the cares and preoccupations of everyday life. Use your time of physical preparation to get your mind ready to meet God. The cloud was also conspicuous as it stood above the Tabernacle during the wilderness journey of Israel and led the people toward the promised land. In other words God will stand over your church as you leave unto the world. To guide you to live a righteous life and most of all to Glorify His name. Our goal is the promise land, which is Heaven.
PRAISE GOD, IN JESUS NAME. AMEN.
