What is the difference between a VATRE and a school bond?

VATRE: Addresses funding for day-to-day district operations, including staff salaries, classroom supplies and utilities.

Bond: Provides funding for long-term capital projects, such as renovations, classroom technology and natatorium improvements.

Each has a different purpose and different funding restrictions. Learn more at nisd.net/Bond26.
