Today Thursday our Vector Control Program will move forward with mosquito spraying in Zones 4, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 22, and 24 as part of our ongoing efforts to reduce mosquito populations and protect public health. To check which zone you live in, please visit this link and enter your address: https://shorturl.at/yZYWN

We ask residents to allow our units to pass safely while they operate. Our vehicles move at a controlled speed to ensure the spray is applied correctly and reaches the surfaces where mosquitoes reproduce. Our units will be operating from 6 PM to 10 PM. Please be kind to them.

🚨 Please note that VECTOR CONTROL SERVICES are provided only in the UNINCORPORATED AREAS OF CAMERON COUNTY. If you reside within a city where mosquito control is managed by the municipality, please contact your LOCAL CITY OFFICE.

If you are experiencing a high concentration of mosquitoes, please report your zone. We prioritize areas with the highest number of reports.

As of today, we have completed mosquito spraying in 11 of the 26 zones within our jurisdiction, and we remain on schedule to finish all remaining zones by Friday.

We appreciate the strong participation from our community. Your reports allow us to identify areas with higher mosquito activity and respond with greater precision during this increase in mosquito populations.

We kindly remind everyone to avoid leaving standing water in containers and to protect yourselves when outdoors. These actions help reduce mosquito breeding and prevent diseases transmitted by these insects.
