This summer, we are proud to host Summer School, Bilingual Programs, and ASP Summer Camp. We would also like to extend a warm welcome to students and families from Dr. Garza STEAM Academy, La Paloma Elementary School, La Encantada Elementary School, Rangerville Elementary, and Judge Oscar De La Fuente Elementary.

We are excited for a fun, safe, and successful summer of learning!

Mrs. Leal’s 1st grade class wrapped up the school year with some yummy Happy Meals and lots of smiles! 🍟❤️ Now they’re off to 2nd grade and ready for their next big adventure! Thank you, Mrs. Leal, for sharing this sweet moment with us as we celebrate these amazing students and all they’ve accomplished this year. ✨🎓

Congratulations to Mr. Zavala for being named Security Officer of the Year! 🎉🏆 Thank you for your dedication, hard work, and for helping keep our school safe each and every day. We appreciate all you do for our students, staff, and school community! 🧡🖤

Our Department would like to take this time to recognize SBCISD Security Juan Zavala and SBCISD Police Officer Julian Rodriguez for being voted by the department as Security & Police Officer of the Year.

Both Juan and Julian have consistently shown a willingness to step up, support their campus community, and go above and beyond to ensure the safety of everyone. Your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed — we appreciate you both!

Our 5th graders recreating a memory from their 2nd grade fine arts days with Ms. Quiroga 🧡 It’s hard to put into words how special this was to make. Yes, we cried. 🥹 Seeing the same students, years later, standing in the same space brings back so many memories. Watching them grow in confidence, talent, and kindness has been such a privilege. Saying goodbye is never easy. We already miss you, 5th graders. 🎓✨

A big thank you to all of our amazing students who found the courage to step onto that stage and share their talents with us. 💛 Whether they sang, danced, performed, or made us laugh, every single act was something special! We are so incredibly proud of each student for being brave, confident, and letting their light shine. 🌟

Yesterday’s Walk to Remember was a beautiful full-circle moment for our Longhorn Champions. ❤️🎓

We were so proud to welcome back our graduating high school students as they walked the halls where their journey first began. From continuing their education in college, graduating with associate degrees, joining the military, entering the workforce, and even celebrating our valedictorian, their accomplishments are truly inspiring. ✨

No matter where life takes them next, they will always have a home here at AGL. We are so proud of the amazing young adults they have become! 🧡

Nos llenó de orgullo recibir nuevamente a nuestros estudiantes graduandos de preparatoria mientras caminaban por los pasillos donde comenzó su historia. Desde continuar sus estudios universitarios, graduarse con títulos asociados, unirse al ejército, incorporarse al mundo laboral e incluso celebrar a nuestra valedictorian, sus logros son realmente inspiradores. ✨
