🚧 More Street Improvements Are Coming to San Bernardino!

I'm excited to share that the City Council has approved the next phase of our street improvement program, positioning San Bernardino to receive approximately $6.26 million in State SB 1 funding for roadway maintenance and rehabilitation.

These funds will help improve 36 centerline miles of streets throughout our city, including resurfacing roads, repairing concrete, enhancing striping, and making other critical safety improvements. The project locations were selected based on the City's Pavement Management Program to ensure we're investing in the streets that need it most while making the best use of taxpayer dollars.

This investment is another step toward improving our infrastructure, enhancing public safety, and extending the life of our local roadways.

We're making progress, and there's still more work ahead. Thank you for your continued support as we work together to build a stronger San Bernardino.

We are encouraged by the positive momentum reflected in the City of San Bernardino’s preliminary 2026 Point-in-Time Count results.

The data shows an approximate 23.6% decrease in homelessness compared to 2025 — a meaningful step forward for our community.

This progress reflects the ongoing efforts of our City team, regional partners, and service providers working together to address homelessness with compassion, coordination, and accountability.

While there is still work ahead, these results show that our collective efforts are making a difference.

We remain committed to continuing this progress and supporting solutions that lead to long-term stability and improved quality of life for all residents.

San Bernardino Eggstravaganza Returns March 28 at Lytle Creek Park!

On Saturday, March 28, the City of San Bernardino Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department will host its annual “Eggstravaganza” from 12:00 to 4:00 pm at Lytle Creek Park, located at 380 South K Street.

This free event provides a great opportunity for families to come together, enjoy fun activities, and participate in one of the region’s largest egg hunts! This year there will be approximately 30,000 eggs and hunt participants will be divided by age group to allow for a more enjoyable experience for all.

In addition to the egg hunt, activities will include bouncers, exciting games, hands-on craft stations, local food vendors, giveaways, festive music, a face painter, and photos with the bunny!

Egg Hunt times are as follows:
1:00 pm: Ages 1–3
1:30 pm: Ages 4–6
2:30 pm: Ages 7–9
3:00 pm: Ages 10–12

Bring your baskets, the whole family, and invite your friends for a fun-filled day of egg-citing surprises!
