We extend our heartfelt thanks to San Bernardino Valley College for its continued partnership with the San Bernardino City Unified School District and its commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for our students. And thank you, Pacific High School and Middle College High School for helping open today’s Valley College Fall 2026 Opening Day. Today, SBVC held a panel including our very own, Mauricio Arellano and other superintendents from surrounding districts to hear how together, we are preparing readiness for college, careers, and bright futures! 🎓✨

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Little Third Street
Safer Roads, Stronger Community! 🚧 On behalf of the students, families, and residents of the Monterey Elementary community, we extend our sincere gratitude to Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. for supporting the Little Third Street Road Reconstruction and Drainage Improvement Project. We also offer heartfelt thanks to community advocate Ms. Astreia Johnson, Rep. Pete Aguilar, and Mayor Helen Tran for their leadership, advocacy, and commitment to our community. These important improvements will help reduce flooding, standing water, traffic hazards, property damage, and transportation disruptions. Upgraded roads, sidewalks, and drainage will make walking, biking, driving, and school-bus transportation safer and more reliable, especially during severe weather. Thank you for listening to our community and investing in the safety, well-being, and future of our students, families, and neighborhood!
