Curiosity is your superpower — use it. 🌟 If you’ve ever wondered what a doctor, engineer, designer, or entrepreneur actually does all day, don’t just Google it. Ask them. An informational interview is how you go beyond the job title and discover what a career really looks and feels like from the inside. It’s how you build real connections before college even starts. It’s how you hear the honest stories — the major changes, the unexpected pivots, the “I wish someone had told me this” moments. Taking initiative as a high schooler doesn’t have to mean perfect grades or packed résumés. Sometimes it’s as simple as sending one email to someone doing work that excites you. Follow your curiosity. You might be surprised where it leads.

Have you ever reached out to someone just to learn from them? Tell us below — and tag a friend who’s still figuring out what they want to do and should see this post! DM if you want the guide!

You can only go to one.
I saw that on a button at a Challenge Success event years ago. After nearly 20 years as a college counselor — and watching my own son go through this process as a member of the Class of 2026 — I finally understand how much those five words ask of a family.
He made his decision. It’s the right one. But I couldn’t let the other schools go without saying something.
These five colleges are doing it right. They’re meeting students where they are, leading with heart, and putting well-being before business. Swipe to see why each one earned a thank-you. ➡️
🐻 University of Minnesota 🦆 University of Oregon 🔴 Gonzaga University 💙 University of San Diego 🎓 Indiana University · Kelley School of Business
Save this if you have a senior at home. Tag a family who needs to hear it.

Senior parents — this one’s for you. 🩵
The acceptance is in. The deposit is done. Everyone around you is celebrating. And yet something feels... complicated.
You’re not imagining it. Senior spring is genuinely hard for parents in ways that don’t get talked about enough — the pride and the grief arriving at the same moment, the quiet loss of a role you’ve held for 18 years, the strange stillness after months of busyness.
This carousel names what most parents feel but rarely say out loud. Swipe through — and then share it with another senior parent who needs to hear it too. 💙

🎓 And if you’re wondering what comes NEXT — we’ve got you.
Join us for our FREE webinar: From Acceptance to Arrival 📅 Wednesday March 25th 🕢 7:30 PM Everything your family needs to discuss the summer before college.

When my child had to medically retire from Division I athletics everything changed overnight.

Deferred, Not Denied: What to Do After an Early Deferral

If you opened your early action or early decision decision and saw the word deferred, you’re not alone—and you’re not out of the running. A deferral can feel confusing, frustrating, and emotionally draining, especially after months of hard work and anticipation. But it’s important to know this: a deferral is not a rejection. It’s a pause, and often, an opportunity.

Here’s how to understand what a deferral really means—and what you should do next.
