The Kiwanis Club of San Clemente is holding a wine tasting fundraiser with one of Temecula Wine Country's most popular wineries, Monte de Oro. They will be bringing some of their favorite wines for a special night of wine tasting. Come join us, taste some great wines, enjoy great bites from Fratellos, and meet new people.

The Kiwanis Club of San Clemente is proud to present our annual high school scholarships awards for these deserving student's. Kiwanis fund raising efforts provide the funds to support our youth programs. Congratulations to these fine students for their hard work, we wish them well as they head off to their chosen colleges.

After three years off from covid, the Kiwanis Club of San Clemente welcomes the return of Mayor's Prayer Breakfast Co-sponsored with the Chamber of Commerce, Local religious leaders and the City of San Clemente. There are still a few available seats for this important event. We have a great keynote speaker Dr. Dung Trinh who will speak on his Alzheimers research. Come join us, meet many of our local leaders, and enjoy a great breakfast catered by Christina Carbonaro. Tickets are available at the door, individual seats are $25.00 each, cash or checks are accepted. See you there this Tuesday March 14th, 7am rain or shine at the community center 100 N. Seville.

San Clemente Kiwanis Scheduled Programs for Spring 2022

March 16th: Lt. Governor Elizabeth Rivas is our speaker. She will be making her annual visit to our club.

March 23rd: Russell Etzenhouser is our presenter. He will fill us in with the latest updates concerning the long running lawsuit against the Boys Scouts of America

March 30th: Board Meeting No Guest Speaker

April 6th: Evening Meeting 6:00 PM David Friedman, motivational speaker, will entertain the club with a program entitled “Four Steps to a Better You Without Having to Change Much”

April 13th: John Dobken of So. Cal Edison will discuss the Decommissioning of the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station

April 20th: Brian Maryott. Republican Candidate for Congress for the 49th California District.

April 27th: San Clemente resident, Sherine Smith will talk about her candidacy for O.C. Board of Education

May 4th: Nicole Capretz, Climate Action Campaign will speak.

Kiwanis Club of San Clemente at this Wednesday's meeting February 9th will have a special presentation by representatives from CR&R Maria Lazaruk, Senior Community Relations, Andrea Sosa Senior Sustainability Coordinator, along with Danna McIntosh City of San Clemente Environment Services Coordinator who will explain the implementation of the new law Senate Bill 183 the disposal of food waste.
This informative program is open to the public, Meeting location at Fratellos Restaurant 647 Camino De Los Mares, Meet and Greet is 11:45am, Meeting begins at 12:00 noon. Kiwanis Club of San Clemente was honored to present as our guest speaker Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer. Mr. Spitzer gave a very informative presentation about the office and duties of the District Attorneys office and the impact his office makes in keeping out county safe. Counsel members Chis Duncan, Laura Ferguson and Mayor Kathy Ward along with guests and Kiwanis members attended our meeting. Kiwanis Club of San Clemente was again serving up our great pancake breakfast for the annual Relay for Life.
This year Kiwanis was cooking up those tasty pancakes at the Laguna Niguel Regional Park.
Great setting, great turn out
Come to a Kiwanis meeting and check out what Kiwanis does.
Kiwanis meets every Wednesday at Fratellos Italian restaurant, meeting start at 12 noon.
Can't make noon meetings, Kiwanis meets first Wednesday of each month at 6pm.
