Have you heard of the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP)? EFMP is designed to support military families who have members with special medical or educational needs by helping them access resources, navigate services, and ensure those needs are considered throughout a Marine's career. 💜

In this video, we provide an overview of what EFMP is, who it serves, and how our team is here to help families connect with the support they need.

Whether you're newly enrolled, considering enrollment, or simply want to learn more, we encourage you to watch and share this information with others in our military community.

You're invited to the MCRD Playgroup at the Depot Library for a fun-filled morning of interactive play and sensory exploration! It’s a wonderful opportunity for you and your children to play, explore, and grow together.

This month's theme is Water and Sunshine!

Who: Families with children from birth through school age.
When: Monday, June 15th, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Where: MCRD Depot Library.

All service branches are welcome, and you do not need to be enrolled in EFMP to attend. Whether you are looking to meet new people, ask questions, or simply enjoy a cup of coffee in good company, this event is open to everyone.

Our EFMP team will be there to share information and answer questions, and our School Liaison will also be present to provide guidance and support related to school transitions, educational resources, and local school systems.

This is a casual, no-pressure environment focused on connection, support, and community.

Join the Marine Corps Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) for the Transition to Adulthood Workshop Series and learn about guardianship, Special Needs Trusts, TRICARE, permanent dependency, and other important topics to support youth with special needs transitioning into adulthood.

This virtual Microsoft Teams workshop provides military families with valuable resources and guidance for long-term planning, financial security, and continuity of care.
