Different forces. Shared purpose. 🇺🇸🇸🇪

U.S. Navy Corpsmen and Swedish medics train together during Archipelago Endeavor 2026, integrating medical capabilities aboard the CB90 in Sweden’s maritime environment.

Exercises like AE26 prepare allied medical forces for the realities of future conflict, strengthening interoperability, exchanging tactics and procedures, and developing the ability to move, treat, and sustain casualties across complex and contested environments.

Training together today builds the trust, capability, and readiness required to operate together tomorrow.

Train together. Respond together. 🇺🇸🇸🇪

U.S. and Swedish service members put interoperability into action during CBRNE mass-casualty response training—moving from decontamination and triage to casualty care and transfer of care.

Training side by side builds the coordination, trust, and readiness needed when every second counts.

Different uniforms. One mission. Ready to respond.

🇺🇸⚓🇸🇪 Ready Together — From Ship to Shore

4th Medical Battalion Sailors and Marines are training alongside Swedish Armed Forces during Archipelago Endeavor, integrating medical capabilities into maritime and amphibious operations across Sweden’s challenging archipelago environment.

Operating with our Swedish partners strengthens interoperability, builds trust, and prepares our teams to deliver expeditionary medical support wherever the mission takes us—from sea to shore and across the littorals.

Five years ago today, 13 American service members made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our Nation in Kabul, Afghanistan.

We remember the 11 Marines, one Sailor, and one Soldier who lost their lives at Abbey Gate on August 26, 2021. Their courage, devotion to duty, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Today, 4th Medical Battalion honors their memory, their families, and all those who served alongside them.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
