USS Theodore Roosevelt Ombudsman An Ombudsman communicates regularly with command families, provides information and outreach to families and can contact the ship in case of an emergency.

The ombudsman team consists of Roosevelt spouses. We are volunteers appointed by the command to serve as a point of contact and resource for all command families and loved ones. Please make sure you have our contact information handy in the event of an emergency. To ensure the ombudsman team has you listed as a contact, sign up at https://cloudcare.force.com/cvn71/s/ . Sharing- this Saturday!

Feeding San Diego is hosting a free, large-scale, emergency food distribution this Saturday, November 1, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at our headquarters in Sorrento Valley (9477 Waples St., Ste. 100, San Diego, CA 92121) to help those impacted by the federal government shutdown.

No registration is required. All are welcome. Recipients will receive fresh produce and non-perishable groceries. If you or someone you know needs food support, please join us. 🧡

🎁 The Armed Services YMCA’s 2025 Jack Daniel’s Operation Ride Home application period is now OPEN! 🎁
Holiday travel assistance is available for eligible service members and their immediate family who wish to travel home for the holidays. ✈️❤️
Who Can Apply:
• Active Duty & Reserve E1–E5 in the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, or Coast Guard
• Stationed in San Diego
• Single or married service members (with or without dependent children ages 0–18)
How to Apply:

2️⃣ Review the FAQs & Eligibility Requirements
3️⃣ Print & complete the Leave Dates Approval Form
4️⃣ Return to the same link to submit your application and upload your form
