Policing in the USA is getting MUCH better, as evidenced by this 13-year-old incident from 2013. In Gardina, CA, a trio of murdered an innocent, Spanish-speaking restaurant worker and shot his friend in the back. These 'warrior' were 'afraid for their lives' and obviously gave conflicting commands while advancing on these innocent men. Today, this kind of thing would be frowned upon, but back then none of these were suspended or even reprimanded; the Chief defended their actions as "a tragedy". I'm sure all three are still working as police, or have retired on fat pensions.

Ignorance is curable. The question becomes: How come someone with a "master's degree in social work" is ignorant of politics? (My guess is that stupidity is the cause, but is it the stupid who are at fault, or the lack of empathy from the smart?)
