Down the Garden Path - Right next door to the small Off-Leash Area

The garden is receiving a grant of $8,000 from Normal Heights United church to put towards the build out of the ADA compliant paths and volunteer support! THANK YOU to the Normal Heights United team, Paul Ammons and Molly Morgan!

Normal Heights United will also assist in the design of the paths to include places in the native plant garden for meditation and outdoor classrooms. We are excited about both the funding and this special partnership!

Work Day - Saturday August 29th 9 AM to Noon
In collaboration with the office of Sean Elo-Rivera, Council District 9, there will be a volunteer work day at Ward Canyon Park that includes our Normal Heights Community Garden. The park will get a good cleaning while the garden will get a HUGE delivery of mulch courtesy of San Diego Parks and Recreation. Bring sturdy shoes, a hat, gloves, and a smile for your neighbors!

Community Garden Volunteer Event Friday June 12th

SD Parks and Recreation and Council District 9 office are working with us to add more mulch to the Normal Heights Community Garden. This Friday from 9 to 1. All ages and abilities are welcome and sturdy shoes recommended.
Friday June 12th from 9 AM to 1 PM
