A fire hydrant will be installed in the corner of st James and Collins st and customers in the immediate area might experience lower water pressure while installing. We do not anticipate an issue with rerouting water since we have isolation valves in adjacent corners. We will update as soon as possible. Work will begin approximately at 1:00pm today May 11,2026. A waterline break caused by a contractor on west Alice st is causing low water pressure. We are actively working on leak waiting on 811 to locate utilities underground in order to start digging. Thank you

A new fire hydrant and several valves will be installed tomorrow approximately at 1pm on the corner of Seguin and gray st. Residents in the area will experience lower water pressure while installation is ongoing. Please call 361-279-3357 for updates. Thank you for your patience.

On Tuesday February 17,2026 the water district will be installing a new hydrant on sur street. The installation of hydrant will affect water pressure for residents and businesses in the immediate area including schools. The installation will will occur mid morning about 10:30am. Waterline break on Hwy 44 and Victoria by construction company paving will cause lower water pressure in the vicinity. We are currently working to fix the leak... thank you

Temporary water lower pressure along Seguin st and st Charles st for installation of a new fire hydrant. Installation shoukd start at 1pm and last approximately 1hour should no unforeseen issues arrive. Thank you for your understanding as we move to provide new infrastructure for better fire protection.
