What a conversation! 🎤 Our CEO Deborah Martin joined Michael McHale (St. Paul's) and Brent Wakefield (Meals on Wheels) at the San Diego Cause Conference to talk about our region's growing senior population and what it will take to support older adults as they age in place. The takeaway: meeting this need takes all of us. Photos attached of the presentation and an extra of our ElderHelp team with friends. Did you know 1 in 4 older adults falls each year? The good news is that many falls can be prevented with the right knowledge, resources, and support.

At ElderHelp, the impact of that support is significant: ElderHelp clients experience roughly 34 times fewer falls and more than 10 times fewer hospitalizations than national benchmarks for their age group.

This week, we’re raising awareness and sharing strategies that can make a difference — from improving home safety and building strength and balance to understanding fall risks, exploring home modifications, and connecting with community resources.
