Here we go, time to prepare! Join us at our Community Preparedness Fair on Saturday, Sept. 12. 🤝 Bring the family for a morning of fun, hands-on activities and helpful resources that can help you be ready when emergencies happen.

Kids can get creative at the Home Depot craft table, experience an earthquake simulator and pick up a free kids’ go-bag while supplies last (pictured here👀). You can also meet local emergency preparedness organizations and learn simple ways to prepare your family and home.

It’s never too early to get prepared, and this is one Saturday morning the whole family can enjoy! 🙌

🚨 ALERT SAN DIEGO 🚨

The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for temperatures over 100 degrees across San Diego County Valleys and Mountains, and a Heat Advisory is issued for the San Diego Coasts for temperatures in the 90s beginning at 10:00 a.m. today.

- Stay inside or in shaded areas

- Drink plenty of water

- If you feel sick from the heat, call 9-1-1

- Never leave young children or pets alone in vehicles
