FREE Fun Family Event on Halloween! The Sorrento Valley Town Council presents return of the Spooktacular! Look for the sign on Sorrento Valley Blvd at the entrance to the Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve parking lot picnic area. Bring your little ones, parents, and pets for some ghoulish fun!!

The Sorrento Valley Town Council is very saddened by the sudden loss of our comrade and fellow boardmember, SVTC Vice President Wayne Cox (shown here in the picture on the right, at the Toys for Tots campaign with Councilmember Chris Cate and SVTC President Lil Nover). He was an active member of our community, also serving on the Mira Mesa Community Planning Group, as well as other organizations that support our community.

​He left us way too early and we will all miss his strength, determination, and especially, his laugh. He is survived by his wife, Jo, and their three daughters.

This waterfall is a highlight of the beautiful Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve and is situated about 1 mile from the entrance at Sorrento Valley Blvd. Pack a snack and enjoy the hike!
