High fence hunting gets a bad wrap, but there is a lot of time and energy invested into improving the quality of the land and the animals. Not saying it’s better or worse but different than hunting low fence or public where most people just take from the land and the herd.

Well… I think we let “GOAT SACK” go one year too long. This what happens to some of these giants if you let them get old. Last year he was over 200” and had been that way for at least 3 consecutive seasons. Most of the bucks we hunt are never taken in their prime, it is just the cost of reinvesting in the herd genetics, since we don’t use any pens to help concentrate breeding.

“ANT” lost his extra inside beams that earned him his name, but at 7 he’s still a great looking buck. One we will be looking hard for this season.
