How many WIPS is too many WIPS? My answer may surprise you! At our December Yarn Social, I had a goal to finish this jumper which I started in ….. 2023.

YARN: Hobbii universe Xmas fi*****ng weight.
PATTERN: ((Free on Hobbii)) Sparkling Universe Jumper

Although I made A LOT of progress on it this month, crocheting this snowflake garland as a gift got in the way of my personal goal. The gift was appreciated by my white elephant recipient, and NO REGRETS!

But I did have 5 WIPS that I failed to finish in time for Xmas. So I decided to put all my Christmas WIPS on the gift table. It looks pretty, even though unfinished. And now I have inspiration to finish some of these.

Life is a work in progress, just like all these xmas projects. And this year I learned that there is no such thing as too many WIPS. It’s good to set goals, but remember that there is nothing wrong with you if you can’t reach some of them.

ONLY 2 MORE ENDS TO TIE IN!!! This snowflake garland was so fun to make but there were two ends for every one of the five pieces and that means 10 whole ends to tie in 🙀 but honestly this scrubby yarn is super nice to tie ends in to bc the scrubbie hides the ends and keeps them tight. But after this I’m gonna do a project that requires no ends to finish!!

The power went out last night when I was working hard on snowflake garland (pattern from .mars on Etsy) and watching Vikings. Luckily my laptop was charged, I still had WiFi, and the loss of power actually helped me focus! Final steps on this garland today, where the power is still out at work and there’s not much else I can do!
