A Poem by one of our SGT girls from Sindupalchowk:

Girls are the incarnation of Goddess Laxmi (Goddess of wealth)
She delivers what she says
But the violence in our country
Led to tragedy and bombing

A daughter can work
As hard as a son
If given a chance
She will make her nation proud

Girls are trafficked all the time
And I wonder why?
I know there is a reason
It probably is the lack of education

Both sons and daughters
Should be given equal opportunity
A daughter's life without education
Is full of darkness
