Connecting Our VETS Providing information on resources, education and job training for veterans. May assist or conduct new member orientations for veteran program members.

The purpose of Allen Community Development Center and the Western Addition Community Technology Center Veteran’s Alliance Initiative is to provide services, in collaboration and partnership with established and existing Veteran’s Programs locally, statewide, regionally and nationally. Establish partnerships with agencies/CBO's to address the challenges and barriers so that veterans (men, women, an

d their children) will overcome and receive full recognition, access to the right services, and become whole, contributing citizens in their community. Our mission is to provide proactive responsive education, training, job creation and resource development services for Veterans transitioning to civilian life and employment. Create opportunities in the community with co-sponsored forums, events and presentations to reach and educate the community on veteran's programs. Responsible for initiating events in addition to identifying resources connected to community outreach programs that support the veteran's program core values. Represent service area at meetings and conferences as required. We hope to help expand programs and awareness by connecting with as many organizations as possible. Now is the time for Vets to join together to help fellow Vets regardless of income level or lifestyle!
