The Two Days That Matter.

These aren’t just budget lines—they are lifelines.

When funding for youth programs, immigrant families, tenant protections, worker rights, and community-based services is cut, the impact is immediate and deeply human. Families face greater instability, workers lose critical support, and vulnerable community members are left to navigate crises alone.

At Mission Action, we’re standing with our community and advocating for the restoration of these essential investments because everyone deserves access to safety, stability, and opportunity.

Now is the time to speak up. Our communities cannot afford these cuts.

Casa Quezada is Pride Ready! 🌈

Residents at Casa Quezada are getting into the Pride spirit through creativity, community, and self-expression. This week, residents came together to create colorful Pride decorations and artwork while celebrating the message that everyone belongs and deserves to be seen, valued, and respected.

Pride is about more than a parade—it's about building community, embracing who we are, and standing together in solidarity. We are excited to celebrate with our residents throughout Pride Month and invite everyone to join us for the many Pride activities, events, and celebrations happening across Mission Action.

Together, we celebrate love, community, belonging, and the power of being unapologetically ourselves.

Happy Pride from Casa Quezada! 🏳️‍🌈💜

Congratulations to Our Community Leadership Training Graduates!

Today we celebrate an incredible group of leaders who have dedicated their time, energy, and passion to strengthening their communities. Through commitment, learning, and collaboration, these graduates have developed the skills and confidence to advocate for themselves, their families, and their neighborhoods.

Leadership begins with service, and this cohort has shown what is possible when community members come together to learn, grow, and lead. We are proud of all they have accomplished and excited to see the impact they will continue to make.

Congratulations, graduates! Your leadership, resilience, and commitment to community inspire us all. We can't wait to see what you do next. 🎓✨

As May comes to a close, we want to acknowledge Mental Health Awareness Month and remind our community that mental health matters every single day. 💚

At Mission Action, we see the importance of care, healing, community, and access to support in all of our work from housing and food justice to immigrant rights and LGBTQ+ services. Taking care of ourselves and each other is part of building a more just and compassionate world.

You are not alone. Your story, your struggles, and your wellbeing matter.

NO CUTS. NO SILENCE. NO DISPLACEMENT.

We’re at City Hall RIGHT NOW with People’s Budget Coalition delivering Our San Francisco Stories postcards and demanding that Mayor Daniel Lurie restore funding for essential services that keep our communities alive and supported.

These cuts impact low-income San Franciscans the hardest, with at least 80% of impacted participants classified as Extremely Low Income.

Housing. Food access. Worker support. Immigrant services. LGBTQ+ programs. Community care is not optional.

San Francisco deserves investment in people, not cuts to the services our communities rely on every day.
