San Francisco Public Library - Noe Valley Branch The Noe Valley Public Library is your neighborhood library for books, programs, DVDS and more! The N The architect was John Reid, Jr.

The Noe Valley/Sally Brunn Branch Library was the seventh branch established in the San Francisco Public Library system. The first Noe Valley Branch building was located at 1308 Castro Street. Using a grant provided by Andrew Carnegie, SFPL built a two-story building with a Spanish-style facade of brick and terra cotta. It was completed September 17, 1916 at a cost of $45,499, including furnishing

s. In 2007/08 the branch was renovated. The renovated Noe Valley Branch has also been hailed for its green features - lighting, low-water plants, and the use of recycled plastic materials. Over the years, the Noe Valley community has contributed to the improvement and well being of the library. During the 1970s, Noe Valley residents built a deck and a community garden adjacent to the library. During the 1990s, members of the neighborhood groups renovated the community room. Currently, the Noe Valley Garden Club is working on a project to redesign and refurbish the garden behind the branch.

Noe Valley Library will be a ballot drop-off station during these times only:
Saturday and Sunday, September 11–12: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Monday, September 13:8 a.m.–5 p.m.
Election Day, Tuesday, September 14: 7 a.m.–8 p.m.
Please do not drop off before and please do not leave in our book drop. Absentee ballots can be mailed through U.S. Post Office starting today.

Here is the link giving locations and hours for all official ballot drop-off stations in San Francisco: https://sfelections.sfgov.org/official-ballot-drop-stations-san-francisco

Official ballot drop-off stations are clearly recognizable, staffed with Elections personnel wearing red vests, and, importantly, ensure security of ballots returned by voters.

The Noe Valley / Sally Brunn Library will be closed until further notice Please read below for more information and check our sfpl.org site for updated info.

We will close to the public at the end of business today through March 31. During this time, we will help support the child care needs of low income families and parents on the front line of the COVID-19 outbreak. Thanks for your patience and understanding. We're in this together!
