Federal funding is essential to San Franciscans and overall Californians well-being, supporting critical services like healthcare, education, and safety-net programs.

⚠️ What’s at risk?

- Up to $880 billion in cuts to Medicaid (Medi-Cal). Over 14 million Californians are enrolled on this.

- $230 billion in cuts to SNAP (CalFresh) — 5+ million Californians rely on this

- Funding for education, housing, disability services, jobs and more.

These programs help our most vulnerable communities — including children, seniors, low-income families, people with disabilities and caregivers. Over one-third (34%) of California’s budget depends on these federal dollars.

If Congress approves large federal funding cuts this summer, our State leaders would need to make major changes to the budget in August and/or in the fall, potentially causing many Californians to lose health care, food assistance and/or their jobs.

📣‼️We must act now!

Here’s what you can do:

✅ 📳Call your representatives and demand they oppose these harmful cuts (especially CA Republicans representatives!)

✅ Join us for ☎️ phone banking every Wednesday from ⏰11AM–4PM OR hold your own phone calls at home. DM us on how to setup!

✅ If your not from CA but in the US ... we need you and your State to also do its part in calling your representatives. DM us on how!
