I began my career as a teacher in the New York City Public School system. Four years later, I found myself directing a teaching training program at Dartmouth College where many of my pupils were older than me. My career took a major turn when I moved to California and entered the fast-paced world of high-tech as an Account Manager for Hewlett-Packard. Through a fifteen-year career in Silicon Valle
y, I developed strategic partnerships with both private and non-profit companies, negotiated competitive contract bids, and mentored new recruits to the sales team. At the same time, I was involved as a Career Advisor at Alumnae Resources helping people find their ideal jobs. In 2000, I decided that making a difference in people's lives was a must for me. I earned my certificate as Professional Certified Career Coach from Career Coach Institute and I've since helped more than 600 people find careers that they can enjoy.
