Catalyst Project is a movement building organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are committed to anti-racist work in majority white sections of left social movements with the goal of deepening anti-racist commitment in white communities and building multiracial left movements for liberation. We are committed to creating spaces for activists and organizers to collectively develop relev

ant theory, vision and strategy to build our movements. Catalyst programs prioritize leadership development, supporting grassroots fighting organizations and multiracial alliance building. Catalyst Project is a collectively run, democratic organization that prioritizes empowered leadership and accountability in our internal culture and practice. We blend structures from non-profit staff organizations and volunteer based activist collectives. We strive to incorporate our left, democratic, feminist and anti-authoritarian principles into our organizational model and our organizing practice. Catalyst Project is rooted in the organizing work of our networks and we develop our programs in dialogue with our advisors and our allies. We are committed to building the left, developing anti-racist practice in white communities and strengthening grassroots social movements.

Join Catalyst Project for the final public session in the Anti-Racist Organizing Series of the 2025 Florida Anne Braden Program. In this webinar we will hear from Anne Braden program alumni who are building white anti-racist power in Florida. You’ll get insight from current program facilitators to hear about the impacts of the leadership development happening in Florida and why we need to invest in white anti-racist leadership in the South.

This virtual panel will feature Rachel Bass, Glitter Felten, and Chris Furino. Bios to come.
ASL, Spanish language interpretation, and live captioning will be available.

Jonathan Alingu of Central Florida Jobs With Justice will be joining Ruth Ifakemi Efungbemi Jeannoel, founder and director of Fanm Saj, Inc, and Katherine Franco, founder of Neighborhood Fridge. Jonathan currently serves as Co-Director to Central Florida Jobs with Justice and has been involved in social justice organizing work for the last 17 years.

This virtual panel will include panelists Ruth Ifakemi Efungbemi Jeannoel, author of Restorative Justice Practices Circle Keeping for Community Healing and founder and director of Fanm Saj, Inc, Katherine Franco, founder of Neighborhood Fridge, a decentralized mutual aid network in Central Florida, and Jonathan Alingu, Co-Director to Central Florida Jobs with Justice, a coalition of labor, community, student groups, and faith-based groups fighting for justice alongside workers and their communities.
