❤️ Hunger Action Month: Nourishing Our Neighbors
Hunger Action Month is a time to stand together and make sure our neighbors have access to the food they need-not just today, but every day. At North Beach Citizens, our partnership with the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank helps make that possible. Through our daily food pantry and meal service, we help supplement a meal each day for our seniors and neighbors experiencing homelessness, providing nutritious food to people who might otherwise have to choose between eating and meeting other basic needs. For many of our clients, food insecurity is intertwined with housing instability, limited income, disability, and isolation. A reliable source of nutritious food can be an essential first step toward greater health, stability, and dignity. But federal cuts to CalFresh (SNAP) threaten to make food insecurity even more difficult for vulnerable Californians. These cuts aren't just numbers-they can mean smaller grocery budgets, skipped meals, and greater hardship for our neighbors. We invite you to take action: raise awareness, support local food programs, share resources, and help ensure that no neighbor has to face hunger alone. Click on the link below to sign the petition:

Every meal matters. Every neighbor matters. ❤️
