In partnership with JVS SoCal and RadNet Imaging, we're thrilled to offer ImagingWorks, an 11-week on-the-job training program based at medical imaging clinics across California. ImagingWorks will prepare you with the fundamental knowledge to work in the rapidly growing and rewarding healthcare industry with online learning alongside a full-time paid clinical placement.

Yesterday, JVS staff members Rosy and Jan attended Workday's Workforce Week event for JVS and Upwardly Global program participants. Attendees received an AI demo on creating effective prompts for building and editing resumes, learned from a panel discussion about upskilling to secure new opportunities, and played networking games to build new connections.

Key takeaways from the panel included:
1. Be a radical adapter and embrace lifelong learning.
2. Knowing yourself deeply will be your greatest asset in interviews.
3. Start with your accomplishments and stories to boost your confidence during interviews.

Last month, our partners at Baywork hosted a Workshop on Wheels (WOW) for a group of 40 students, workers, and leaders from Bay Area water/wastewater agencies. The group toured four BAYWORK agencies across four counties: Marin Water’s Ignacio Booster Station, Sonoma Valley Sanitation, Napa Sanitation District, and Vallejo Flood and Wastewater District. The Sonoma Town Square provided a lovely venue for a picnic lunch!

Many thanks to Sesa Pabalan, JVS's Senior Coordinator of Employer Impact, for putting together this wonderful day of learning and connection.
