Home Match is thrilled to introduce Rebecca and Laurinda, our newest match in Fremont, CA! Rebecca had been living in her mother's home with a spare room to share, hoping to find the right housemate. Laurinda was looking for housing closer to work. As it turned out, they were exactly what each other needed.

Home Match Alameda is thrilled to celebrate a new match in !

Stephen says he manifested Patrick, and we believe it. When we introduced the two as potential housemates, it was immediately clear they were exactly what each other had been hoping for. As it turns out, both men are professional gardeners, and they now share a home in Oakland complete with a lovely garden to tend together. We couldn't be happier for Stephen and Patrick, and we're grateful to have played a part in bringing them together!

Barbara has shared her home for many years, and came to Home Match hoping to find a friendly, independent house mate. We introduced her to Sophie, who’d been in our program seeking an affordable unit—it was a perfect fit!

Another match at Home Match! ✨

Home Match’s County office recently matched home provider MaryAnn and seeker Robert in Berkeley! Robert was previously matched in the city of Alameda, but wanted a new place with a little more privacy and space. He came back to us, and we introduced him to MaryAnn.

MaryAnn is a Home Match home provider, with a lovely detached unit she was willing to rent at an affordable price. The two hit it off immediately, especially over their shared love of cycling and hiking around the Berkeley area! We at Home Match are very happy for MaryAnn and Robert, and we wish them the best of luck in their new arrangement.

Home Match is celebrating a wonderful new match in !

Olivia and James have known each other for many years. When Olivia heard that James needed a new place to live, she immediately thought of the open room in her home.

Olivia already lives with several housemates she’d met through Home Match, and she wanted James to benefit from the same support, guidance, and structure the program provides. So, even though they already knew each other well, Olivia and James still chose to go through Home Match in order for the transition to be handled thoughtfully—with formal introductions, mutual expectations, and a clear living-together agreement in place.

Alongside our team, James met with Olivia and the other housemates already sharing the home, and everyone felt good about the fit. We’re very excited for this household, and grateful to help make this move-in feel supported, transparent, and welcoming!
