Greetings!

Welcome back to school! In order to kickoff the semester and Black history Month were going to need your help! Join us in the quad from 12-2 today as we kickoff Black History Month! and also to get information on all of our events in February and whats new this semester!

Secondly, also join us tonight at 7 PM in Jack Adams hall for "Justice Or Else, moving forward", and be informed in an engaging event. Find out how you can get involved in play a critical role in the salvation of the Black community.

Greetings Family!,

We would like to remind and invite you all to our BSU potluck which will be tomorrow at 7:00 P.M. in Humanities 108. This will be our last meeting of the year and we would like to end it on a high note. So if you are free, please join us as we close out the semester strong and introduce you all to the new BSU board for the 2015-2016 school year.

Remember to Vote!. Today is the last day to vote for YOUR Student Governmen.

Vote Ismail Muhammad as a write in for the Vice President of Finance; Elect someone you can trust to handle your student funds!

Vote Naeemah Charles for the VP of External Affairs; Elect someone who you can trust to handle affairs in the community and be involved with issues of all people.

Vote Sharlana Turner as the graduate representative; Elect someone who can lead the graduate class in the right direction!

Here are this weeks event!

Wednesday:

Pan-Afrikan Festival Rehearsal
Join us Wednesday night at 7:15 in Humanities 108 to begin rehearsals for the Pan African Festival on Sunday April 26. Come to this meeting/rehearsal to learn more information about being a model in the fashion show, and rehearsal dates. This years fashion show will be composed of 3 segments: Africa (West, East, and South), Caribbean, and lastly "90's Retro Fashion" (In this segment, students will be able to show off their own 90's Retro Fashion at the fashion show and the winner will win a $50 gift card). Also, if you are an artist you can come to this meeting as well as we will be going over performances as well.

Thursday:

Pacific Islander Mural Celebration
This Thursday April 16th in Jack Adams Hall from 12 to 3pm come celebrate the Pacific Islander leaders in the community. There will be FREE Food and Great performances!

Reminder:

Queens Meeting:

Queens will be hosting a fun and interactive Forum on Black Womyns Sexuality at 7:15 P.M. in Humanities 108.

Kings Meeting:

The Kings of the Black Student Union will be hosting a kings meeting at 7:15 in the Black Student Union Room, C-135 Cesar Chaves Student Center.

Thursday

Join us Thursday at 5:30 P.M. if you are interested in participating in the Pan-African Festival on April 26th. We will be giving more information and rehersal dates if you would like to volunteer or be apart of the fashion show. If you would like to participate but can't attend email [email protected]
