Did you know kids under five in Santa Clara County can get free books? In partnership with the Santa Clara County Library District - SCCLD and Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, families with young children can get age-appropriate books delivered to their homes every month. ❤️📚

When babies and little kids look at or read books often, they are better prepared for preschool and kindergarten. Reading daily at the same time can help little ones learn words, bond with their caregivers, and build their daily routines.

Today our staff went to Camp Potter. ❤️ Led by our camp counselors in yellow, we enjoyed a relaxing afternoon filled with games, food, and fun. This afternoon was a great reminder that play isn't just for little kids! When we connect, play, and recharge with one another, we can all tackle the work we do with energized minds and hearts. Potter the Otter also stopped by to say hello, take photos with families, and remind us all to drink water during this heat wave!

Even in summer, kids are discovering how fun learning can be—yes, even mathematics!
At our Josephine Guerrero Family Resource Center, young learners explored math through hands-on puzzles, games, and interactive challenges during a Julia Robinson Mathematics Festival. The room was filled with energy, curiosity, and excitement as kids stayed engaged and inspired to keep learning.

Happy World Cup season! 🥅⚽️ Potter the Otter joined Councilmember Pamela Campos and friends at Ramac Park to watch some of the latest matches. He met some new friends, played games, and more.
