In collaboration with Indivisible Palo Alto+ and as part of the Safety Over Surveillance coalition, join in for a session of Democracy Forum as we confront the reality of mass surveillance, its impact on our everyday lives, and its implications for our democracy. There will be expert panelists teaching us about how mass surveillance erodes democracy and breakout groups to plan and organize action for next steps.

Join us this Pride Month on Thursday, June 25, for Pride Labor Movie Night, presented by Silicon Valley DSA & SEIU 521 Region 1 COPE! We will be showing Pride (2014), a film based on a true story of le***an and gay activists who supported the British miners’ strike in 1984. Food, snacks, and drinks will be provided!

There is a new Democratic Socialist in Congress! Silicon Valley DSA congratulates DSA member Chris Rabb on his election for Pennsylvania’s 3rd Congressional District. This victory would not have been possible without the work of thousands of working class people across Philadelphia organizing for a better world. Congressman Rabb will be fighting to abolish ICE, free Palestine and win Medicare for All.

We can defeat Trump and the Democratic establishment when we ORGANIZE; the MANY over the MONEY! If you’re tired of being told that better things are not possible, JOIN US! Together we can build the movement to have our own Chris Rabb, our own Zohran Mamdani, right here in Silicon Valley.

Join us for another Fundamentals of Workplace Organizing training at 2302 Zanker Rd in San José on Friday, June 5, at 6:30pm! Learn the most basic building block of all organizing: how to start the conversation that motivates people to take action.

Following the training, we’ll head over to Peanuts Deluxe Cafe for a little post-organizing socializing until 10pm!
