๐ The Monterey Bay is called the "Serengeti of the Sea": 36 species of marine mammals, 525 species of fish, and countless relationships (otter, urchin, kelp, whale) where every role matters and every loss weakens the whole.
Our South County communities are just as interconnected. From Salinas Valley farmworkers to Watsonville families, Cabrillo College students to Carmel artists, we form one of the most demographically diverse regions in the state, all sharing a single coastline.
But one part of that ecosystem is too often left out: individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and the families who support them.
Join Hope Services at The Coast Cares Gala to help make sure every role, and every person, is valued.
