Martial Cottle Park is an agricultural location that has been maintained by family from 1864 until 2014. This park was created in accordance to the wishes of the family that the land be used to educate the public about the agricultural heritage of Santa Clara Valley. Given it's history we Spartans who created this page believe that it is important for the community surrounding the park to not only

learn it's rich history but also learn about the wonderful design that had been implemented in the park beginning with the parks accessibility and inclusivity of all people, public spaces, walkability, green spaces, and ending with it's overall opportunity to create a healthy community.
