Franklin-McKinley School District (FMSD) is a network of elementary and middle schools in San Jose. We appreciate your attention to these guidelines.

Franklin-McKinley School District is located in the heart of the Silicon Valley, serving a diverse population of more than 7,500 students from TK-8 at 16 schools. Families can access a wide range of resources through the Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County's Children's Initiative at the Seven Trees, Educare, and Shirakawa Family Resource Centers. 📍

The resources and programs include food/diaper/pet food distributions, outdoor play, senior groups, library storytimes, art activities, and other services.

Routine visits to the doctor and dentist are an important part of getting ready for the new school year. Routine checkups help monitor your child's growth and development, and keep preventative care up to date.

If you haven't already, consider scheduling your child's checkups before the first day of school to help them start the year healthy!
