Franklin-McKinley School District Franklin-McKinley School District (FMSD) is a network of elementary and middle schools in San Jose. We appreciate your attention to these guidelines.

Franklin-McKinley School District is located in the heart of the Silicon Valley, serving a diverse population of more than 7,500 students from TK-8 at 16 schools. This page is meant to inform, include, and inspire our stakeholders – including parents, students, teachers, staff, and community members – about key events and happenings, memories, celebrations, and school experiences. Nutrition is the key to every child’s wellbeing. During summer, FMSD will offer free meals to any child 18 years old or younger. See the list of locations and dates below for more information.

From June 23 to July 21, 2026, Shirakawa (665 Wool Creek Drive), Franklin (420 Tully Road), Dahl (3200 Water Street) and College Connection Academy(1855 Lucretia Avenue) will provide breakfast and lunch as follows:

· Breakfast for Summer Program Students: 8:00 am - 8:30 am
· Breakfast for Community (any child 18 years old or younger): 7:15 am - 7:45 am
· Lunch for Summer Program Students: 12:30 pm - 1 pm
· Lunch for Community (any child 18 years old or younger): 11:45 am - 12:15 pm

Please note that Shirakawa will offer free meal services until July 31, 2026. Sites will be closed on July 3.
