THANK YOU to the parent of a “once upon a time” young adult who noticed, as they were donating some of their child’s collection, that we had a few gaps in our YA section. Within a week they purchased and donated ALL of these!!! Plus some that are already circulating. We are so grateful to have brand new copies of so many amazing titles.

California is offering its Special Edition Historian Passport for free from June 17 through July 6, 2026—which normally costs $50— entirely free to download for a limited time. It provides unlimited day-use entry for up to four people to more than 30 participating state historic parks and museums through December 31, 2026

El Historian Passport (Pasaporte de Historiador) es un pase anual de los Parques Estatales de California que ofrece entrada gratuita ilimitada para hasta cuatro personas a más de 30 Parques Históricos Estatales.El pase normalmente cuesta $50, pero el estado ofrece una edición especial que es completamente gratis.
