WELCOME OUR NEW PRINCIPAL! Kimberly Valentino

Dear Dayton Community,

It is an honor to introduce myself as the new principal of Dayton Elementary School. As an educator, I have a broad range of elementary school experience including serving as an Assistant Principal, teaching special education and teaching a variety of grade levels. I am also the mother of three children.

I hope that you are continuing to enjoy summertime with your family. If you are new to Dayton this year, welcome! Returning families, we are excited to welcome you back to Dayton for the upcoming school year! The staff is working hard to prepare for the first day of school on Thursday, August 19th. I am looking forward to a great year and am excited to see students back on campus!

Our primary concern remains to be the safety of our students, families and staff. Student learning, engagement and social growth also continue to be priorities, as does our support for students with varying learning needs.

Join us on Wed, Oct. 28th for a special Fall Celebration during the Wednesday Morning Gathering. Students may wear costumes during the Zoom. Participation is optional.
